 I again email Mr.Dimitar Gargov asking for info on his new Tarsacci and it reads.

  • The title was changed to It’s Released! Tarsacci MDT-8000 DX

Hi chuck, I’ve been a tarsacci owner for a couple of years now and it’s been a fantastic detector for me. So recently i acquired the new dx version.
I’ve only used it a couple of times and did try the new 4.8 hertz frequency with the salt balance into the 50’s range, which was very stable. Heaviest 18k ring I found with first tarsacc.

@Furmiston  Thanks for speaking up.

Will you please give us your thoughts/run down on the new DX compared to the original?

I too have successfully run the Tarsacci for several years, mine in difficult red maghemite soils.

What advantages are you anticipating with the DX?

I’ve mostly used it in 9 hertz on wet sand.
were it seems to do well is the deeper mineralised layer that holds the gold.
so what I’m hoping is a quiet threshold at 0

and the 4.8 hertz with high sensitivity to really compete with a pure pulse induction.

There were several issues I had with the Tarsacci. One being I could never run the machine past 9 hertz or the interference from Black Sand was too much for the ears.  This handicapped the machine for gold. In fact on a particular day, I found a gold bracelet with my Equinox and my Friend with the Tarsacci could not even hear it.

So my question: is there any difference between in the newer machine to overcome this?

Thanks
