  • The title was changed to First Test On My Keene Puffer

Decided to take the puffer out this morning.  Ran for 3 hrs this morning and packed up before the heat hit.

Not bad for 3 hrs.

Knowing I kinda rushed the panning on this cleanup, I saved the cons to rerun through the mini max. It paid off . Can't believe I missed this piece.

This makes it a nice even 3/4 g run for the 3hr run that I have 10 hrs into lol 😆

Nice chunky gold and a good result for 3 hrs

Yeah it's perfect size for drywashing.  Hard to get with the detectors, and hard to lose in a drywasher

Occasionally larger bits can ride out of the drywasher if your material gets locked, or if there are insane heavies. Always good to check both piles with detector. The new gold monster 2000 will likely get these bits

I can understand classifying if you are hauling dirt back, but otherwise I just shovel straight in. Drywashing is probabilities. The more soil you process the more chance of getting a chunkier bit, and it is the chunkier bits that give the weight. I would rather spend my time processing virgin dirt, which may have a chunkier bit, rather than reprocessing dirt that I already got 95% of the gold out of - just probabilities

Yeah, after I pack up the drywasher, I rake down both course and fines piles and run the Manticore through them. Never want to leave any chunky bits behind 😁
