New Legend 2 Advertisement

Looks very good. The performance should be there.  I see they have adopted the wireless update capability pioneered by Rutus. This is a very handy thing when you want to compare software versions in the field or take advantage of specific aspects of a certain version. It opens up a whole new level of specialization instead of having to be a general do all detector all the time.  One size fits all is seldom the very best for difficult situations.

The coil also has a Rutus look to it.  Not a bad thing.

I dislike bringing up the subject of money but does anyone know what it’s going to cost?

This is the second time within a week that I’ve seen the words Deeper More Powerful being used on the ad of a detector. For what it’s worth I hunt alone and I don’t have anyone to hold my feet so I can get the coin out of the hole.

 I’ve ask this question before and it goes like this. Will the Legend 1 coils work on the Legend 2 detector??

 When anyone knows the answer to that will you please post it.

Reasonable question & one that would effect a lot of us in our buy/don't buy decision.

The fact that the ID numbers look like a 7 segment display has me worried that it might have a non adjustable screen, which would be another easy way to screw themselves over with secret keybinds like the first legend. Hopefuly that's just a quirk of the image though, and it's a fully programmable display.

I do not know the answer as a fact.

But the ad says it uses LD prefix coils. The current Legend uses an LG prefix. This leads me to believe, the coil will not be compatible. Again, I do not know this as a fact.

I like the 99 target ID's as I am used to the Nokia Multi Kruzer and it will be an easier upgrade for me. Looking forward to it and might upgrade if the reviews are good 👍
