Scrolling through Facebook I noticed this ad from Minelab. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1771o7D3Sw/?mibextid=wwXIfr
What do you think it is? Hopefully the long awaited CTX-3030 replacement. I have a feeling it’s probably referring to the new Gold “Monster” though.

It's indeed the Gold Monster 2000 and has been a topic of discussion in the ML Gold Monster forum section of DP since May.  There is a long form ML promotional video later in that thread (embedded below) that pretty much reveals what it is.

Well at least they are realistic in that video, they just throw it on it's side, where it is going to flop anyway with the stupid ergonomics and balance they have stupidly kept from the 1000.!

How about a non top heavy machine with improved performance and keep the old price.!   That would be a sure winner.!!

I personally hate videos like this that jump from scene to scene so fast its like you are in a kalidescope.... we had a professional video content creator build a new product video that came out like this, moving so fast that you could barely keep up.... fired his a$$. Tell me a  story, don't shock my old brain into oblivion trying to keep up

Blame music videos and social media - the video style caters to the short attention span of today's generation and resulting marketing trends.  The ML marketing department hired a video production company that apparently understands those trends but has no clue regarding the sensibilities of the target demographic for this niche product.  If they were trying to appeal and attract the next generation of detectorists, they failed on that count, as well.
