24" x 12" Coiltek UFO Mono coil for GPX / Algoforce, in excellent condition.  The skid plate appears to be new and unused. I bought it on eBay for $315 USD in January, but haven't had a chance to use it yet (only function-checked with Algoforce).  Located in Southern California.

$315 USD plus $16 postage to lower 48 US states.

Does it calibrate in ultra fine? I know of a guy that may want it.  He's after a large, long skinny width light coil for black sand beach hunting.

I'll check. It's a little weird in that it only has one shaft mounting ear, but I did attach it my GPX shaft and swung it over carpet and functionally there didn't seem to be any difference compared to dual ears.

At the beach you wouldn't even need to use the skid plate.  It's 918g without the plate, so only 23g heavier than a 12" round Evo.

No doubt it would hit deep on a chunky gold ring in sand.  A Manticore M15 is effectively a 15x6 coil if you're comparing it to a mono coil, so 24x12 is a big step up.

Ok thanks, I'll let him know and he'll contact you if he wants to buy it.  Not uncommon for old Coiltek's to not work in ultra fine, they can't be even slightly out of spec for ultra fine to work.
