NW winds pushed me out the front door to the beach Friday hoping for some good tides. Got to the beach and the winds and water were perfect, Flat and Low.

Plenty of targets, several were very deep and one way hits of the swing of the coil, If I moved around the target trying to find its better signal they would disappear.

Targets were light and both rings fall into the same weight class as most that was dug. Almost three hours hunt time, would have stayed longer but a shift in the winds to west winds killed the deep targets (disappeared) with a change in the wave action, flat to waves. Water temps are falling, 61F this hunt.

I can relate to your hunting. I loved pulse in the 80's & 90's, sadly I did give them up as my detecting evolved. But remembering those 18" deep rings lives on.

Kind of crazy this hunt (Friday) I had several. I went out today (Sunday) and got "no" one way hits, they were faint and repeatable both ways of the swing. Also no gold today but water was rough as bricks which kept me from getting out where I wanted.

I agree, sometimes we have to change with the times to get the best results. I just happened to have a couple spots I can use a PI and its almost like this machine was made for them. Places no other machine will find the deep treasures the PI will.

Thank You! So true, only issue I have is...... a hard time melting the stuff for I feel like each has so much of something? Not sure what to call it.
