Of course, the GM wins for small gold sesnsitivity, that's a given being a VLF, where I guess it matters for most is depth and I'm probably not the best person to be testing that as my mild soils are not where PI's shine and VLF's have much better depth than many would realize, so it throws out the results.

How does the E1500 compare to the GM2000?

The performance differences between the 2 are depth potential (+ points to the E1500) sensitivity (+ points to the GM2K) and the other differences are about price, weight and coils. When the 10x6 coil becomes available for the GM2K, it will make a bigger difference. The GM2K finds waaaaay more gold then the E1500. I can make $100-200 every afternoon with the GM2K, versus that much for a week sometimes with the E1500. I havent turned on my E1500 since the 20th of October.....that says a lot.
