Pumpkin Carving

Happy Halloween all!  My kids and I carved these pumpkins this year.  My daughter did Stitch Elvis, my son did Prince John, and I did Davy Jones. 

I hope they bring you some enjoyment!

Really love the latest carvings, not like the old days. Excellent. Last one I did was with electrical tape!

Thanks!  Can’t say how I’ve ever used electrical tape, but a set of wood carving tools, and a linoleum cutter have certainly helped.  Of course, this would be impossible without a pattern and transfer paper.  After that, it’s a matter of strategy on where to start and how to progress so you don’t bust out the whole pattern. Davy Jones took about 15 hours.

Heh, I just cut pieces of tape in the shape of eyes, nose and mouth and stick 'em on. 🤣 We used to do the annual "Pumpkin Shoot" here, so I didn't want 'em to rot 😅
