and after these many days, still no proper size operators manual. We have zero idea about the frequencies being used in Difficult, normal and benign modes. All the tech specs we serious operators need. piss poor as usual

I haven’t tried it yet, but would a RF frequency counter work for measuring the coil frequencies?  I have a Radio Shack one somewhere in storage that I used to use for my radios, I’m curious if it could measure what frequencies are coming out of a coil.

I went to the site last night looking for a 'manual' and got the AI virtual assistant.  It kept sending me to the same 3 links with the quick start guide.  It would ask "Did this answer your question?"  I would say No.  It would say "Do you want a step by step guide?"  I'd say yes and it would suggest the same 3 links again.  Did you like that?  No, NO, NOOOO ... I'm sorry, can you be more specific ...

Then I went to the downloads ... the only thing it offers is the Quick Start Guide which is more about assembly than operation.  Kevin was aware of this also when I told him the story.  He had been doing training all day with it.  I asked him how long he had it and he said he couldn't tell me because of a 25 page NDA he had to sign.  There was another dealer at the event who said he had a 2000 in early August.  They've had time to get ready for questions.

Lesson learnt about AI 🙂 It's called "Artificial" intelligence for a reason.

Research is one thing but customer service is another!

Is this what you fellas are looking for? I`ve been a wee busy using the GM2000 positively so I had a look at their website. The GM200 shows to me how that ML have reached another milestone in achieving our holy grail.... a detector that isn`t affected by ground mineralisation.

Thanks Norvic, they've fixed the website now.

Still no answer to the frequency question, even on the manual. Just vague 12-75khz crap.

Which is par for the course for ML.  They always describe Multi-IQ, Multi-IQ+, and now Multi-Au in vague terms. ML has never published/confirmed the base constuent frequencies for any Multi-IQ mode in any Multi-IQ-based detector to date (i.e., Vanquish, Xterra Elite, Nox, nor Manticore).  Based on that track record, why would you expect a change this time around?
