Looking at the adapter I use for my earbuds I don't think it will support stereo however. Is there anyone with a electronic background that can confirm the headphone adapter is capable of stereo output?

Aaaaaaand there's my Christmas present!

Probably in May... 🤣

if we're lucky....

It will be interesting to see how this works, it might really help in trashy places. You'd get a sense of exactly where the good object is in relation to an undesirable one.

And maybe version 4 will have other enhancements and fixes. 🤔

I prefer the backphones to any of the other possibilities, but they'll probably do an "XL" version later.

The XL version and the WS6 version are both already pictured on the website as well

I'll keep my Quests thank you! 🤨

And if you eventually get a new WSA-ST puck to slide onto them, the Quests should support either mono from the legacy puck or stereo from the new ST pucks.

Turns out I'm likely wrong about the Quests (and existing backphones, XP Gray Ghosts and clip adapters) supporting the stereo output from the new XP stereo pucks. A picture on the XP website shows three vice two physical pressure pin connectors on the "new backphones" to enable stereo to the phones.  So that's unfortunate, but makes sense from an electrical wiring perspective, to enable true stereo.
