Your magnifying glass looks like the same size as my 5” GM2000 coil, glad Jonathan has gotten ahold of the bigger 10x6”coil.

IMHO Back to topic: Real miners don’t brag or promote their gold finds unless they like night visitors or make their real money on equipment sales or from TV show  reimbursements 😏

Yes, that really is product placement! 

Knowing the larger coil is being used to find the specs on Jonathan's finger make me wonder why it isn't available to the rest of us now.  It is the number 1 reason why sales are not greater ... many are waiting for the larger coil.

hold off long enough and it will likely come free like what happened with Manticore coils.

As to the gold and gem shows ...

I've met a couple of the 'actors' and/or 'miners' that I watch on Friday nights when I get a chance.  I look forward to it or watching the show on demand.  Most of our shows use so much big equipment that I can't relate but I did like the Aussie Gold Hunters which were more to my scale.

There are a couple of other shows that use metal detectors where I don't understand or care for the finds.  There is too much speculation about the find being 'planted' for a particular scene.

The only bad thing they can do to a piece of gold or to a gem is lie about where they found it.  If they have brought it in from a different location and a different time, they should use the pictures and let me (the viewer) know.  

If they have done this, I can even forgive it as long as it is a nice piece.  We'll know the truth soon enough.  The gold is the star and not the actors!

Now I`m getting the go with the smaller coil (been a lot of years) and the rains gone again🤞 I`m not sure the larger coil will get much use. Washes that are only narrow/shallow in ground (linear detecting) that produces are coming up with the goods, and then there`s the grass on the slopes. I`ll get a larger coil no doubt but I`m having a ball with that gold price as is, get with it Sad Sacks...... 😉 JPs teasing..... MLs gonna up the price of the GM2K coz its bloody magic like the 6K... the Z.... are.... did they go down in price?
