Impact Coil Compatibility

I picked up a very clean impact here recently. I like machines with large easy see screens these days and this is one of the reasons I always wanted to try one out. 

While searching through older impact threads and post I thought I read somewhere that the kruzer and anfibio coils would work on the impact as well as long as you wrapped the coil a couple of times before sending it up through the shaft. 

I reached out to Nokta to ask if the anfibio and kruzer coils were compatible with the impact and they replied that they were not. 

I was surprised to see this as I have saw several threads mentioning this.

Has anyone tried to use an anfibio coil on an impact? Let me know what happened.

I am almost positive that the Anfibio round DD28 will work just fine & was recommended over the stock Impact coil.  That means all the other Anfibio & Kruger coils will too.  I think the Nokta rep is focused on the cable length.

That's what I thought as well JCR. I am almost tempted to get one and try it. The impact is kind of big and I think an 11 inch DD would fit it fine....maybe even a 13 inch DD would work great

 The large coil for that impact Nokta makes is way too big IMO.

I have 6 coils for my Anfibio, including both the 7" & 9" concentric and the too big KR40.   The 11", 13", both concentrics & the 5"X8" are my favorites.  I think your safe to try one.
