Kinda wondering if there is more to the story? NF was having issues producing to keep vendors in stock here in the states prior to tarrifs. I could be wrong though, but its been hard for myself trying to find some NF coils.

Pretty sure I remember reading that was a chip shortage or something to do with those IC parts of the new coils...being in the consumer electronics field there was a time where AV receivers became hard to get because of some fires in key chip production warehouses in China. That seems to have resolved itself a year or so ago but it just shows that it could happen. Either that or its the tried and true excuse that worked before, 😁

Could be a shortage of special spiral wound cable crafted by scantily clad indigenous women, lol. no offense to normally clothed indigenous women. 😉

Sometimes all it takes is a bump in the road or even a perceived bump in the road and its game over. I just hope things get smoothed out and soon.

I just ordered a "legs" for the GM 2000 and they are coming from Australia.  The total price US with shipping was $31.00 with the legs being $18.00 US.  I'll post up what the tariff fees collected when it's delivered in 2 or 3 weeks.

Why would they ship to us when they make more off the aussies and dont pay extra for tariffs its all about the bottom line 😙

Because they just add the tariff cost to the product, just like all the items they buy that they pay tariffs built into the cost that they pay, AND the dollar value is high enough to charge us dumb Rich Americanos more.

Nugget Finder is a small company with less than 10 employees. They can't absorb the tariffs.  USA based distributors and brick and mortar dealers like some of the members of this forum can’t afford to eat those tariffs and elevated shipping to USA costs either. That's their profit margin.

The NF Xceed coils look really good for the GPX6000. However, $550 coil, plus $55 tariff plus another 1 to 2 % for previous import tax plus elevated shipping costs to the USA from Australia for that coil would have to be nearly $100 US for shipping.

It makes no sense to me for them to lose money trying to get those coils here and some companies like Nugget Finder would rather not pass that cost on to the end users even though they may lose some USA sales.

Australia is one of many countries that buy Nugget Finder coils and those countries have not put tariffs on everything like the US has.

That coil would have passed under the $800 threshold back in April and would have only had a 1 to 2% tariff. Now that under $800 threshold is long gone.

Maybe something will change in the near future......

Note - Australia has the GST ( Goods and Services Tax) of 10% for the last 25 years that applies to all Goods and Services  (except some foods) - so when i buy a Nugget Finder coil in Australia 10% tax is automatically included in the final sell price. If i import from overseas the 10% GST still applies on those products and services as well.
