  • The title was changed to Stripped Bare!

Nice haul of goodies.....I'm guessing it's a short window before the tide comes racing back in?

*** I just re-read it and you mention the 1.5 hours to scoop as much as you can ***

I can imagine safety is a priority with those crazy tides you have in the UK. I'm guessing there's been a few tragedies over the years.

Grear job stupot!🏆

I'd rather have many targets to sift through, than hardly a beep, where you have to check to make sure your detector is still working! That happens too often here!

Keep up the good work! 🍀👍👍🌲🎅

Such adverse conditions and then add rocks every where.......... that's a great hunt!

I know here in the States, New England tides can drop as much as 2+ meters and I can't imagine several meters. We are lucky here in the Chesapeake Bay to see 1 foot. 2018 early spring we had a 1 meter blowout. It was like a gift from God!

Some really interesting looking finds in great condition , WTG stupot !

FYI on tides uptah camp.

Tidal range here in southern Maine is 12+feet (4m). The Bay Of Fundy is ~20 feet (7m) .Add as much as a foot (30cm) or more once a month on what they call astronomical highs (with negative lows).

Some of the clam diggers uptah camp use air boats like in the everglades so they can go way out and move faster than the incoming tide.  Kinda important to know for us detecting on negative lows too.

Our very highest tides are 34 feet with massive minus ebbs to boot. But some places dont drop all that much compared to some. But those that i look at can expose a huge area well below the high water mark.

Its a different world further out, finds are really varied with their condition being really good if you can find a lower spot. Luckily, its either on clay, peat or bedrock, gives me a chance to reach old stuff on a regular basis. Very aware of tide times and different beaches that are dangerous to the unwary.
