Working On A Gold Recovery Device

Guys, I have developed a mechanical unit that will separate gold from black sand without water, or chemicals. I've been using 60-100 mesh tungsten for testing.(same density as gold) but will do a final test with flakes of gold.  I'll be applying for a patent on the unit, so can't divulge any more about it. I've been working on this for over two years. The motivation for this is to allow prospectors, where there's no water, to actually see the gold they may be recovering, or to test drywasher concentrates, and see the gold, without panning. Obviously, I spend too much time in bone-dry country...LOL

Maybe there is room in your design for this sponge, but it seems it absorbs the ions and maybe not the flour gold?

Nope...this is simple, and purely mechanical, and nothing that needs to be replaced. It has to be, excepting long-term wear items.

I've seen some classifiers that gradually get down to the size of the fine gold.  Guys I know say don't use a magnet or you will lose gold.

Gotta like that, but I'm not a Golden Retriever fan...LOL I like them well enough, but have never had much interest in owning one.

Well...right now she's a Heeler cross. Might be the best dog I've ever owned, but a little eccentric. She's my 14th dog. Had 7 German Shephards. Smart as they are I think  Heidi is smarter, and easier to train, but has some weird character traits. Not bad, not annoying, just weird. Never had a bad dog, though. Loved them all, and still miss them all.

I appreciate the comments and suggestions. Now I have the really intense job of making all the drawings, and writing up the Description, Abstract, Ramifications, etc that makeup a Patent application. Trust me when I say this "it is NOT fun"...LOL Probably end up with 30-50 pages of drawings and writing.
