Looking good, looks to have the traditional Nokta high build quality.  A shame its got a carbon lower shaft, hopefully they have a plastic or fiberglass option available.

The last 3" of the lower shaft are plastic so the lower carbon fiber shaft only makes minimal contact with the smaller coil.

Can't totally confirm that using the prospecting mode until the testing software is ready to download. I get to use my iPhone for that download. Should be interesting.

Everyone is going to really like the WiFi update feature.  My Rutus Versa uses that & it works very well. You can change software versions in the field quickly and easily to optimize performance or for testing purposes. The potential for this capability is greater than most realize.  One detector unit can be optimized for many hunting scenarios. No more one size fits all.

I am one of the final field testers for the new Legend 2. Received it directly from Turkey today.

It is a beautiful detector with very nice carbon fiber shaft system with cam locks. The shafts will not rotate like some other recent detectors.

Extremely light weight. Weighs 40.9 ounces with the 8.5X6" coil and 45 ounces with the 11" round coil.

Lovely back lit display and buttons.

I am abiding by Nokta's NDA so if you have questions I probably will not be able to answer many of them. No software yet also.

I think it’s awesome that you have been selected as a tester of the new Nokta Legend 2, as your writeups are always knowledgeable with well throughout conclusions.  As watching videos is one thing, but in my opinion, nothing beats a proper written description of something.  A bit like how most film adaptions, never quite live up to reading the book!  I look forward to reading your findings.
