Good to know. I have found the little car quite capable in the snow as well. It is surprisingly so since it appears to have so little clearance, but it turns out to be an excellent winter car. Good heater even. The SUV I traded out was a RAV which are lovely vehicles too, I test drove some of the hybrid versions but had grown so fond of the little car for my urban environment, I just kept it.

I have no need for anything more capable than the Prius, and have grown to love that gas mileage and maneuverability. It squeezes into very small parking spaces. It is perfect for going detecting in little neighborhood parks where there is a lot of low speed stop and go driving. Carries quite a lot of gear too.

Perfect detecting transport.

My prius is a 2015 that I bought used back in April.  It was in like new condition with only 41,000 miles on it.  What it lacks in power, it makes up on affordability.  I love this little car.

Mine a 2009 with 218,000 and no sign of slowing down. Really all I need in a car, and I enjoy driving it. You were lucky to get a used one that new with so few miles, it should last for years.

Good thing too, I am sure to need new detectors and they are not getting any cheaper.

Had the day off today so I hit one of the local high schools.  I didn’t have access to the football field but I did hit the grassy areas around the fence where a lot of people watch from.  I thought I’d get a lot more coins but only got around $3.  On the way home there’s a single soccer field in town that has artificial turf but there’s a grassy strip down one side.  This is where I got the majority of coins.  $18.74 in total consisting of 49 quarters, 59 dimes, 29 pennies and 6 nickels.  134 coins.  Actually 136 coins if you count a Canadian penny and a bent up dime. I also got another small silver ring!   I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!@IMG_1342.thumb.jpeg.76d909f637ffaffed8cc6a08688a90b2.jpeg
