MX Sport Power Button Issue

Hi guys.. Im trying to figure out what is the problem on my machine and the posibility to repair it myself.

Below is the video of the issue: 

The machine will turn on automatically as video when I inserted the batteries... As in the video, I pulled out the battery pack (off camera) and inserted again for the second time as seen at the end of the video..

As for now, Im thinking maybe the power button has stuck on Normally Close state but thats all I got..

I tried to find MX sport hard reset option but didnt found it..

Would love to hear any ideas before I start dismantling the control pod.. Thank you in advance

Well possibly the power button or the component that is initialized by the power button has failed shorted. Does the power button have a nice tactile snap when you press it?

It does Sir.. doesnt feel like it stuck/loose ..

Its too far from me Sir.. I live in Asia..  my only option is to repair it myself.. I dont think its worth it to send the machine to US for repair..

Yes Sir.. the last time i submerged and water ingress happened was in 2017.. i think.. I dried it up it works fine and I just use it on land ocassionally because I like the mix mode..

I think if you can disassemble and thoroughly clean with 92% isopropyl alcohol you may have some luck resolving the issue. A slight trace between components can cause havoc on a PC board.
