Wanted Detector For Young Beginner

I have a young friend who is intrested in detecting. I'm looking for a modernish fairly inexpensive detector for him. Nokta simplex comes to mind. Let me know what you have to offer. Thanks

It’s all about how much money you have to spend. I always said buy the best you can afford and Nokta Minelab and Garrett has what you want at any price.

 It would be best if you could buy a good used one here but if not it don’t take a lot of money to buy a great detector anymore.

Did you let him use one of your detectors to see if he really wants to learn metal detecting?

Ive got a Minelab X-terra Pro that's only been used a few hours as a demo.  I'll sell it for$250 and that includes shipping to the lower 48.

Thanks guys, lm going to drop this for now and see how he gets along with my troy. I want it back one day, but he can use it for now.
