A very good demonstration.  Thanks

@JtT May I suggest the same demonstration with appropriate settings down your Iron Line?

Yes, it is a really good demonstration of work and actually a test of two modern detectors with the Dual MODE option..It is nice to see how dual mode works in both detectors..

I wrote my view and opinion in the comments in this video..

I don't use a Versa, but this was a helpful video for understanding a possible use case for the new multiprocessing setting on the Deus 2.

In this case, it seems like the all metal channel would be key for catching a deep target on the "discovery swing." The latter targets especially seemed out of range for the Deep HC program -- they only gave a response every other swing, at best, which means you'd likely miss them if you were just using that program.

With both programs, though, you're much more likely to hear the target first with all metal, swing over it a few more times, realize the faint signal on Deep HC, and dig it.

Exactly so, this is just another reason why dual mode is such an important asset when deep searching.

This is style 1... Dual Mode settings for searching for deep targets that are on the border and beyond the range of the dynamic-discrimination mode..
This setting works well in places where there is, say, less iron..

But..In places where there is a lot of iron, I use a completely different Dual Mode setting to unmask targets in iron..Style 2.with the static channel setting so that I hear the signal from the Static channel only on medium-sized and larger targets...and on targets the size of a small coin, it gave almost no signal...from the Static channel..

So the detector can work very quietly in such terrain and at the same time provide enough information about the size and depth of the target..

Same for me.  The key is being able to adjust each channel; AM & Disc, in their respective levels of Sensitivity, Modulation, Reactivity & especially audio volume & tone.  With this full capability any site can be examined in much more detail, on any level you choose.  The limitation becomes you, not the machine.
