Everyone knows that the Manticore is a monster when it comes to detecting small chains. How small? WELL, I found this very very small chain with small heart marked 925 the other day. The center of the heart appears to be colored glass. I believe the silver chain with small heart pendant was made for a doll – the inner diameter is about 1” and the whole thing weighs 0.56g! Each end of the chain has a larger loop which appear to have been soldered together; with the solder breaking and the doll losing the chain probably while swimming or playing in the surf. lol

Bet mine is smaller then yours.

Happy Hunting

M9 scored me this 1mm gold chain (14k) at a campground last September.

It was an 04. Not sure if the tiny charm helped at all.

If you snip a couple 1/4" long sections from that chain, the Manticore will still find them in ATLC, with M15 coil no less. Pretty insane.

I've recovered several short sections like that at my beach spot, on different occasions, all from the same super thin chain.
