They will hurry this one up as soon as possible after Minelab's 8000 announcement.

Looks a pretty solid detector build with a nice screen and interface.    A shame we can't see the coil in any photos; I wonder if it resembles a toilet seat 🙂

I'm guessing nokta will go with The urinal theme, just to avoid the patent infringement 😁

Jeff posted this photo some time ago. It shows a coil, at that time anyway. Who knows if any changes have been made. Or is this a different detector entirely?

Maybe looks like a toilet lid but definitely not a toilet seat.

 

I have heard nothing about an imminent release but who knows??????

After seeing the GPZ8000, its weight and its price, that will be a definite NO for me. I am not swinging a 6 pound detector anymore. Hopefully the Magnetar is well below 5 pounds and way, way, way below $15,000 US.

As long as it can compete with the Garrett Axiom and the GPX 5000, I will be very happy.

If it has performance close to the Garrett Axiom or GPX 6000 and is waterproof I think they're going to have a hit.

I think I recall Dilek saying it's lighter than the 6000, I could be wrong.

When I first saw this photo, I was excited to read "Below the Surface" thinking it was aimed at the Magnatar. But then I saw it was an advertisement for the Pulse Dive. 

If it is indeed waterproof and tough around saltwater, it will be at the top of my list.
