New Member From Redding, CA

Hello Folks,

I’m new to metal detecting and wanted to say hello from Redding, California.
 

I purchased an axiom 3 weeks ago and have managed to find two little pieces of gold, but I sure have some questions about how to use this machine.

Are you in Fort Jones? I work in the Scott valley and drive from Redding to Callahan or Etna and back 2-3 times per week. Now that I’m thinking about it, I met a detectorist at my project site in the tailings a while back. I’m pretty sure his name was Ron. Is that ringing any bells?
