The White's TDI SL Special Edition metal detector was introduced in 2018 and was still in production when White’s closed up shop in 2020. The last variant was called the TDI SL High-Q, the same detector described here but with a new White’s manufactured coil. The SL is a pulse induction (PI) metal detector aimed primarily at relics, gold prospecting, and beach detecting. The TDI SL Special Edition is a variant of the White's TDI SL and according to White's available for a limited time only.
