Northeast , the 18cc was the best coil ever on the GP3000 especially in Mono

would like to see the Z with 17 CC and 20 CC X coils compared to the Mod 5k and 19 evo for depth on some nuggies .... owning all of them i know there`s a bit more to the ability of the Z regarding charcoal..

+1 for Mick at Detectronic`s ,,, i hav a 4500 done and she`s pretty sweet , ( also hav a 7000 and a sdc and a 6000 )

me too,,,
just had a noisy 11"coil replaced and a dry solder joint fixed in a 6000 from Minelab Adelaide ,, and its a much quieter more stable beast now ,,, the New coil looks totally diiferant when you take off the skid plate

yep, iv done it , works great. Credit to Chase Goldman for decribing what to use ,a TROND 2 in1 bluetooth reciever/Transmitter for $15 USD , now their 70-90 aud ,, also see a current post on the detector prospector section from PeterInSA he has a link to ebay for a $15 unit , i would try one of these
