What about between the GPX 5000 NF Evo 15'' mono vs GPX 6000 ML 17'' by 13'' on a one to four gram nugget?
-
Have you ever seen any other people out night detecting nearby?
-
Maybe you should get a flashlight hookup for your detector so as to be able to see where you're detecting easier as least somewhat.
-
Those are both nice nuggets. If only nuggets of that size weren't such a rarity to find. Some character to those nuggets.

The NF 12'' by 7'' might be a more desirable coil if it was more sensitive along with being quiet.
-
The two coils that I've used for the most part on my machine(s) are the Coiltek 9'' and Coiltek 10'' by 5'' Goldhawks. I haven't used either stock coil in the goldfields yet.

I own a GPX 6000, but if I were to get a GPX 5000, what coils should I get so as to pull away from the 6000 on two to five gram nuggets?
-
The majority of gold here is solid, but there's some specimen and porous gold occasionally.

Quick Question: Would you rather use a 6000 with the 13'' by 17'' coil or the 5000 with a 13'' by 17'' evo coil on a two gram nugget? That's the average size of nuggets here. And how much would a 15'' evo coil give me over that?

This is my first post on a detecting forum of any kind. Hopefully I'll learn from this forum. If it helps to find more gold, the more the merrier.
I own a GPX 6000, but have used an GB 2, and a SDC 2300.

I've used the following coils:
GPX 6000 with 10"x5" Goldhawk;
Equinox 900 with 11" stock coil.
Though I don't have this coil at present, I've used the 9" Goldhawk coil quite a bit.
