  1. I finally had a chance to take mine in the water. I think they are loud enough for me. I had boats and wind but could hear fine. Comfortable enough to wear for a while. Cord was long enough. I have not submerged them, that comes over the next few days. The description in the eBay listing for mine was that they have the Visaton waterproof diaphragm loudspeakers.

BTW, they haven’t increased my finds magically yet ?

Wloch how do you like the profind 35

Coming from the dreaded Harbor Freight to a GP pointer (that actually worked) it is wonderful. I know that it is going into the hole and will tell me where my target is. That wouldn’t always happen with the other 2. I have had good results with the iron tone. I have yet to use it underwater.

Just double checking Tom - you are happy with these headphones overall? The Minelab units are getting multiple reports of being too quiet and they are trying to fix the same problem with the soon to be released Gray Ghosts - so the Hungarian headphones may be “it” right now.

They are quite loud with the volume at 25. I got mine when his price was $85/set. I hope there wasn’t a reported technical issue with them. They seem nicely made overall. Considering the choices out there and not wanting to miss getting a pair of ML ones in time for a beach vacation trip I have in a few weeks I decided to get these. They seemed better than the other yellow ones at the beginning of this thread.

How is the cord length on the Hungarian phones?  It looks like it may be a bit short and might tug on the phones when swinging.  I hope the GG Amphibs for the EQ become available soon.

I just tried swinging with hot them connected and the cord stretches out nicely. I haven’t had mine in the water but I don’t think they will be an issue. Just long enough to get the job done without being too short and tugging. Better than being too long and getting in the way I guess.
