If you chose 2, 3, 4, or 5 tones and you set up the notches and the tone Hz's just as you want them, and then later decide you want to use Pitch Or Full Tones, Will the notching/discrimination and tone sounds still be valid? I am still quite new to the D2 but have discovered I really like the sounds of Pitch and Full Tones and I see that Pitch is the only one that allows you to run a background threshold and that low background hum is something I need to help me concentrate on deep signals. I only have trashy hard hit parks to hunt in and so I need some extra discrimination my soil is mild and emi is seldom a problem.
Thanks

Be careful though, if it's old stock it may have a version earlier than V.0.71 that had a bug in it where it locked up if it was away from the coil.
The manual is your best cheat sheet. 🙂
If it is old stock I can update it right?

Long time Minelab user here. I canceled my Manticore order and place an order just before lunch and have received a tracking number already. I also ordered the big XP 280 back pack.
I am confident in learning the machine its just navigating the menu, Does anyone have a small cheat sheet on how to get around to the most used settings, maybe I could laminate it and carry it with me?

I don't see a setting for iron bias? I am ok with that as I have always ran the nox at 0 iron bias. I should have a manticore on the way this week

These are what I ordered. They appear to be the exact same as minelab minus the logo

If you upgrade to Z-flip 5 and put the app on the smaller folded screen and use a lanyard like this you can have it in your face hands free. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MVNYCYR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
