Hello, everyone 😊
I X-rayed the metal detector XP Deus 2. Maybe it will be interesting... 😉
-
I checked another coil, it works much better than my coil in this video

I haven't noticed that with my 10x5. I rechecked it with sensitivity at 16, 18, 20, 22 in my back yard and it doesn't do that on mine. I can't go higher than sensitivity 22 because of EMI in my yard. I haven't searched fields with stubble, but I'll check it again next time I go out.
Thank you, tomorrow I will take another 10x5 coil, I will check it...

Yes, wheat stubble
-
Our stubble is sometimes too high. 😄
11" also makes noise, but much less, according to my observations. At 11" there is no noise from the "ears" as in this video, the 10x5 coil
-
I'm also happy with the coil, I did a great job with it underwater, but... the field created questions
-
Hi All, what you tell about that?
Check your coils 10x5, do you have such a problem?
This is my video from Russia, the titles may not be clear to you, but I think that everything is clear in the video

X-Ray AKA Intronik STF . Аll parts of the metal detector, video version. May be interesting

It will be interesting...

"I can't believe you've only got 4 likes for your X-ray, that's virtually criminal."
I agree with you 😃😄
Besides I have the same x-ray on the Equinox 11", and on the black coil 9" Deus , and on the Garrett Ace Euro DD coil, on the X-Terra 505 standart DD, from Ireland... 😉

The video on their site provides plenty of clues:
Same goes for the Double-D coil design - as is shown in the video. Use the same tooling, perhaps even the exact same coils as the Equinox series? Produce more of them production costs go down or stay the same depending upon demand. Either way it would be a very cost effective approach to take. Especially if "Multi IQ" software is being re-utilized (see below comments). Why re-design a coil platform if it can be used across several detector models?
I think it'll be a new coil.

service@minelab.com.au.... still no answer from them, unfortunately... I was hoping for them. I waited 2 weeks.

Hmm. I don't understand why the sticker is inducing fear in submergence. Is that because there is no warranty coverage there or something? I thought ML stood behind their detector if it became water damaged as long as users were using it in accordance with the instructions and depth limits.
With warranty coverage everything is good. I don't understand why they're scared of this sticker. It's all these people's prejudices. And I just curiously :)
I also always say that everything should be fine if you use the detector in accordance with the instructions. But they're still afraid: D

Detector suits me completely, I'm glad I bought it. The sticker is just curiosity... I don't swim with him.
Russian people meticulous))) when I bought the Equinox, and immediately took x-rays of the coil and the block, for interest.
Some people already make homemade coils to it, others make underwater cases for diving deeper than 3 meters. And some people are afraid of this sticker, especially those who swim with it under water... :)

I expected everything, but I did not expect a Chinese device, a Chinese parody of a Chinese device from Minelab 😒
