Did you manage to fix it?

I have one of the initial run. Also bought the Manta v3 which is a clone of Eric Foster designs. The Aq seems a bit pumped up Whites TDI. Its not ground breaking tech, no matter how they present it.

DeepTech is not popular where they are being made /Bulgaria/. I've not seen even one being sold second hand or new and I keep watch. I'm trying to sell used coil for older Vista but it's going to be a tough sale. 
I've had 2 vistas /Gold Gain & Vista Smart/, bought them used from the UK, and didn't noticed they stand out with something. If it was good discrimination on the Gold, it was coupled by instability so you trade one for the other. I wouldn't buy another of their offerings at the moment because they can prove difficult sale later. 

Check out the Nitecore NPB1 powerbank. Its rugged, waterproof, dust proof and quite small sized so you can attatch it easy to the rod. I mean this what i would pick 100% if i need more detecting time but im a bit lazy so...

I'm using Noka Makro foldable shovel. It's not best but it does the job and you can put in in you backpack for easy transportation. 

A place where the GPX beeps and you dig the Deus 2 stays calm... Deus 2 is the most disappointing machine for me lately. I'm moving to Manticore, I hope it can offer more than the D2. One thing I noticed about the Deus 2 is it works nice for really small coins but not a huge upgrade considering the cost vs other machines.

Where can I find extra coils for the AQ? Are those even available for sale? I only have  the large stock coil.

Very valuable information thanks a lot. Had this bugging me since I got these boards. 90% of the boards are 3.3.X so that's good - most of them are from Excalibur II 

Audio section is different vs the regular Sovereign everything else seems the same. 

Crystals 3.904 are hard to come by some of them have those removed. 

A quick question if I may. I have a batch of Excalibur boards marked as 3.3.X. Do you know which version of the Excalibur they correspond to /I or II/? I also have couple of older boards marked as 2.3.X. When I have time I plan to refurbish all these but will see.

If your detector starts to give false signals just increase delay up to 11.5 /max/. You will just loose some sensitivity to small thin stuff but including the very small rubbish too, plus you gain stability. The TDI SL for example allows you to adjust 10 to 25 delay. 

Reverse engineered one TDI SL couple of years back. Nothing really special.
Didn't bother to put it back together parts and board still in boxes.
