Volume on the Manticore has been rather tricky, not sure if this is my hack transmitter or just how the manticore works.   

I have done the same and it has worked great.  Ear buds are just a better overall experience, especially in the hot summer days.

Looks really awesome.  Two dislikes though are charging times and the battery level indicator.   When at 50%, that means you have between 7%-90%, way too large of a range. 

Really like the ability to discriminate ferrous coins better.  Our Canadian clad is terrible to hunt, they sound dreadful and the target id bounces around terribly.   Hope this works good, as having 1$ and 2$ coins can be quite profitable. 

Ten user profiles are available, which is great.  Initially thought it was on website, the below was search modes.  

However,  I have seen video with the ten user profiles available.
