Hey TexasjackKin I just moved from Fernley Nevada to Lakeside Oregon there's a lot of good places in your area just be mindful of mining rites. Have fun there's a lot of good info here and the people on this forum are very knowledge about our hobby.

The wife and I just moved to the Oregon coast and cant wait to start metal detecting the beaches but a lot of reading and research needs to done such as laws and what metal detector would be best suited to our area.
