This is starting to sound like someone who thinks everyone at a birthday party should get a birthday gift, I pre-paid because I had the money to spend at the time, not to be first in line or anything like that.  I hope to get mine this month.  If I do then I do, if not, well I will get it when I get a call from my dealer(Gerry).  and I am OK with that.  My hat is off to Minelab for their marketing strategy. That is my 2 cents worth.....IdahoAl

2cents noted , My wife also prepaid because We had the money at the time ,not to be first in line,  nor did we get in line at 6 other retailers to see which would get us the equinox first and then cancel on the other 5 , And yes marketing strategy was great

Hope you guys aren't so wrapped up in this that you forget Valentines day is next week. Equinox might be the least of your problems. LOL

Well this was supposed to be my Christmas present when it was prepaid in October my dealer said it would be in by ,then Santa Clause ? the ? and no present under the ? for me so when I get my equinox she’ll get her flowers and chocolate ???

Which company would you rather be? A company with a new product on the way that has massive threads underway by people upset they can’t get one quick enough? Or the company with the similarly late product that has nobody upset at all because nobody cares?

I’d rather be the guy posting pics of my finds with my new Nox lol . It’s a supply and demand issue , no way ML could have anticipated the interest and high demand for the equinox , but if they would release a statement instead of letting rumors run rampant then this would not be as big of an issue

If any of you found a 1/4-20 washer with your old Radio Shack detector, you did WAY better than I ever did with mine. That thing put me off the hobby for a decade.

You know the “Boot of Cortez “ was actually found with a radio shack metal detector  389.4 Troy ounce

I am quite anxious to get a large coil for the very same reasons. I have to clarify however. I really like the 11” round DD coil for almost all uses. My negative commentary regarding that coil has strictly to do with prospecting for tiny nuggets in rough terrain. But parks, beaches, in the water, etc. I like the coil.

I count ground coverage as every bit as important as depth, maybe more so. That 12” x 15” coil will help a lot in that regard.

Steve do you have any idea on what kind of price point on the “6” and “12x15” coils  can’t seem to find any price other than $1123.75 which I know that can’t be right
