Hi goldenoldie
Your right,I'm in British Columbia. We have desert hear in the interior of the province were we grow all our fruit. I worked in the
orchards years ago in 43 -44 degrees. Worked out in that for 8-10 hours a day. After you get use to it, it's not that bad.
We have lots of gold history here, but all the gold in my area is flour gold, nothing detectable.
I'd love to find 164 pieces of gold.
Just a side note. Do you visit the Australianelectronicgoldprospectors forum.

If that's 164 oz, that's one hell of a wkend job. Suppose to be about 42 degrees C tomorrow in some parts of OZ. Not great detecting
weather.

I,m looking at a couple of used TDI's, one of them had the elliptical mono, so before Ipulled the trigger thought I would check to see if it was worth the extra money.
thanks

Steve. Does your TDI have a belt clip on it, and if so do you find that a useful option. Also I see were they made a about 6x10
eliptical dual field mono coil for it. In Arizona/ Socal, would that be a useful coil to have?
Thanks

thanks Steve
Watched both Digger Bob's video's. really good. So there is actually 3 tdi's, the TDI, TDI PRO, and the SL.
I,m thinking about a trip to Arizona/California next fall and I have the GMT but thinking the TDI would be a good weapon to add.
There is suppose to be a new non Minelab PI coming out of Australia shortly. Suppose to be a new concept in Pi's, so waiting to see if it materializes before I make the plunge. Not the QED. See what happens. Might be a repeat of the Pulse Devil story, although Mr Emory just applied for another patent.
Really enjoying your new forum! Lots of great info.
Cheers

Hi
what's the difference between the pro and the sl?
Other than the stock coil, are there any other coils that are useful in certain applications?
Thanks

I was thinking the same Steve, that someone dropped it. Maybe they had so much they didn't miss it. Wow!!

I haven't tried them yet, but they look very tough. Filson double tin pants. Made in seattle, cost 160.00.
They would probably require some breaking in, but I doubt you could wear them out.
Nobody in my area carries them and at 160.00 i don't want to buy on line. Will have to make a trip across the boarder in the new year.
Best of the holiday season, and have great 2014!
Land Version ATX, Here's A Start......

I thought they could have put the ATX in the infinium enclosure, then it would be hip or chest mountable. Maybe the reason they didn't bring out a land version, is it would kill the infinium sales. Just my thoughts.

That's sure a professional looking mod you got going there.
