Man, you sound just like Calabash!

Aureous: How about pics on how you did yours.

AU HNTR. As you're not always an AU GETR

But, but, but. The Legend can't be as good as the Nox800 because it is way cheaper in price. LOL SMH.

Jeff, when you updated to 1.11 did you find that you had to run the sensitivity lower than when using 1.09? Also was there any "learning" curve after the update?
-
You can buy the replacement parts for it. I got mine at Serious Detecting.

Should be able to click on specifications tab and the dimensions should be listed for each backpack.
-
Hope you let everyone know if the NF is any better than the 11 inch stock coil. Thanks
-
Maybe should try on M1, M2, and single frequencies just to see the difference.
-
Did you try sending him a pm.
-
Maybe think about getting a bigger backpack that they’ll both fit in.
-
Got my numbers from the NF and Minelab websites.

Nugget finder 16x10 weights 1.940 lbs and the standard 11 inch coil for the 6 weighs 1.5625 lbs, from what is advertised.
-
GB, will the 16x10 NF find the smallest bits as well as the 12x7 and the standard 11 on the 6?

With the problems the 6000 has had I would think a FedEx or Ups return shipping label would have been included. 😉

Just look at the size of the speaker on a cell phone and ipad. They are about the size of a quarter of a round toothpick. Seems to me they could put it anywhere on the detector so it is facing the user. Jim

I just use a bigger backpack so that everything fits inside.

Applied for on 9-4-2020 and just approved on 9-27-2022.

Glad to hear that. Hopefully they'll keep doing things efficiently.

My first 6000 was faulty out of the box which they replaced with a new one. I've had the new one for 21 days and probably used it 8 days before it went bad. When i was boxing it up to ship back i heard something rattling inside of it, not good. In researching i found that they've known them to have major issues since March or April, yet they have refused to address the issue with a production stop or at least look at the different production runs and recall those units. I think when it's all said and done there will be a substantial number of them that are faulty worldwide. As it stands now, Detector Center states that there is a" temporary" 10- 14 day time frame for repairing them. My bet is that it's not going to be temporary. If this failure rate continues there may be grounds for a worldwide class action lawsuit, who knows. Oh, and i owned a business for 40 years. Not a very smart way to run a business. JMO.
This is what I said last November and several people thought I was talking out my a**. Jim

Yes, the 10x5 Coiltek coil works good in areas that are brushy and or rocky by being able to get under or between things. It also is lighter and makes the detector feel better to me. My whole point is that it is not any better than the factory 11 Inch at finding any size gold. I know there is always lots of hype on new releases of detectors and coils, but not the case on this coil. JMO. Good Luck, Jim

Did the coiltek run any quieter than the standard 11" though?
TE, it was somewhat quieter on my 6000. Jim
