there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the wireing but the plug is still sensitive to touch or movement it might be a worn socket or pinns

That looks like an older microphone connector of which the base will come off.
But there is a way to take them apart, the center will come out once the base is off of it.
I just can't see where the unit comes apart, as some of those the base simply unscrewed while holding the center barrel tight. Then there were some with screws on the base that were loosened with set screws.
i mannaged to get it appart by holding the centre barrel and turning

hi has anyone had any expierience using a minelab relichawk what i wanted to knowe was what are the opperating tones in s mode i get a fast succesion of beebs and in m mode it gets slitely slower and in L mode even slower succesion of beeps
