Glad that you are enjoying the D2, I feel the same way and fell in love with the D 2 right away. I've never had a machine that I could run so hot, sensitivity up and reactivity down, my silver count is way up. I still have the D1 that you sold me a few years ago. Good luck and happy hunting.

I've not experienced any loss of depth, picked up a 9 inch silver quarter with a very loud and clear signal.

Hmm, that was easy, now let's wait for a real job like manual ground balance in FMF programs.
Go ahead Xp, make my day.

I was hoping that someone on here that has a test garden and a Deus 2 might be willing to perform some suggested test. Of course I could do this myself however I think that having it done by someone that knows their test garden would be better. I'm hoping that others might have some suggestions. Happy Hunting

Yes, I wanted the 9 also but settled for the 11, however I cannot complain about the performance of the 11 it really gets the job done.

Why wouldn't it be possible for XP to come with an update or patch so that coils from the Deus 1 could be used with the Deus 2. Even if only single frequency (mono mode). I would love to be able to use my 5x9 HF coil on the D2. Waterproof or not.

I finally signed up after years of following this forum, I enjoy reading what Steve and the rest of you have to say about this hobby. I look forward to contributing anything that I think may be helpful. I live in Northern California and mostly coin hunt I've recently purchased the Deus 2 after years of using the E Trac and Deus 1. Happy Hunting to all.

digital newspapers for sure, also take a look at street names for example I have a similar situation where I am and sure enough there is a street named Racetrack circle. it's worth a look anyhow.
