I ordered 1-9 and got mine today via 2 day Fedex Express from Cabela's First time doing business them and I'm impressed with the customer service I got. I spent some time on the phone with several customer reps and they are really great folks to deal with. I ended up with a 10% discount and another $20 off to boot.
Now that the wait is over, it's time to spend some time navigating the menu and getting to now the machine for myself. Heading out Sunday for a test spin.
Congratulations and happy hunting!

I'm curious to know what number in the cue for any of the other kellyco buyers, anyone care to share? Checking the Cabelas website all day and night is making my wife wonder what im really up too. "No one can get that excited about a new MD machine"

A literaly minutes ago Cabellas had one in stock, i clicked, put it in my cart, looked around for about 3 minutes then checked my cart, they updated it by saying error not in stock. Really frustrated how Mlab is handling this roll out

I’m going to be out in the Bradshaws on the 24th if you feel like going further north and meeting up. I don’t know the area, researched claims, and know the 800 pretty well. I guess at the very least, I can give you tips on how to use the machine and am confident if my 800 goes over gold I will find it.
much appreciate that, but i cant get away from the family that day

wow, again thanks for all the tips, links and local info. I had been messing around with google earth and the land matters websites and hadn't made much progress

Hello all,
I am in Wickenburg AZ, visiting family for Christmas. Id like to get out of the house for a few hrs and detect. Never detected for gold before but i figure it would be fun to give it a go. I use an equinox 800. Anyhow, I dont want to end up tresspassing on someones land or claim. So anyone know of some good spots open to the public?
thanks in advance

Hey folks, I want to say a big thank you to all that replied to my original post. I have since left the area, i did manage one quick hunt, didnt find any gold or coins just spent brass. But i did find some peace of mind in the beautiful canyons and wadi's, that in itself was worth going out.
Happy hunting!
