  1. The gold is not seen in it though. It has to be seen with a loupe.
  2. I found out it is a dolostone with quartz and amounts of gold inside of it.
  3. It isn't Portland cement. I know cause it came from a huge rock and it was smooth and sparkly on the inside. A smell did come from it when i blew on it but i had to put my nose close. I think it might be dolomite. How much does dolomite or dolostone go for per pound?
  4. Nothing happened. To tell ya the truth, I have no clue what it could be cause I poured a lot of vinegar on a part of it and nothing. I don't think it is sand stone either.
  5. Grains of sand didn't shed from it when i used a screwdriver or my finger. I have no clue what it could be. I found it stuck in the ground outside in the Baton Rouge area.
  6. It glistens very much in the sun and it came from around a 100lb rock. The texture is smooth until it reaches grooves where it becomes rough and then smooth again. The pictures are not on a sunny day though.
