  1. Unless it was a different Don Martin, but this is it.
  2. Some of the prospectors from Brazil hang out on the Spanish speaking FB groups. All I do is right click over text and everything automatically is translated. I saw a post in 2 of these groups, they posted a phone number for anyone trying to get in contact with Don Martin.
  3. I never spent time browsing that sub-forum... I was a good online friend with Don Martin the Brazil Prospector "Garimpo" until he hardly ever showed up.
  4. Somewhere is a stream a guy found nugget using a 2 1/2-inch homemade backpack dredge.
  5. Here is dry glaucophane, it looks more greenish. When wet you get more bluish of a color. Appears to have a spindel concave perfectly rounded.
  6. Nice, ever find any pickers down there? I live on a glacial hill. I find a few large chunks of quartz vein, that's about it except for abundant blueish green glaucophane. I once had a sample assayed by a professional from Ridgecrest CA. Supposed to be quite common in Japan.
  7. Nugget Shooter forum didn't allow politics either. Then 1 or 2 habitual offenders, usually got their political posts deleted sooner or later.
  8. Former Nugget Shooter forum member here, good to see at least a couple of you, have new place to hang out... great to meet again! 😊
  9. I've been interested in gold prospecting since the early 1990s (especially in the southwestern states). Retired now just turned 68, but my goal is to eventually get back to active prospecting.
