  1. You have learned your lesson well grasshopper! 😉
  2. In the ground of course! 🤣
  3. For those interested in viewing and subscribing to GhostMiner's YouTube I have included the first video. Enjoy the voyage. (And Steve I hope you will allow this to remain. GM didn't ask me to do this I took it upon myself to do it.)
  4. Never dealt with Gerry but never heard a bad word about him either. I dealt with 2 detector companies as well in my brief 20 or so years playing in the Arizona desert and a couple nearby states. Bill Southern, NugggetShooter as he is known on his YouTube videos, has been great for me. I think at least 5 of my last detectors came from him. Never had much problem with any of them but the time I did he was very helpful getting me help from Minelab. Wish he would be on this forum but he has a lot on his plate with his videos, detector lessons and prospecting/mining for himself and Tammy. Always a good time to detect with him.
  5. Hey GhostMiner if you are out there this song made me think of your journals! I still miss those by the way! Hope all is well with you!
  6. Wondering why they don't pick someone like Bill Southern aka Nuggetshooter?
  7. GhostMiner ... Good to see you posting. I have not been to this old mine site but I believe I heard a story once of an older now probably gone to the gold mine in the sky miner that told a tale of going out there. If nothing else it would be a good place to explore if only to feel the spirits of the old miners who lived there.
  8. Please do ... BUT not too soon! 🙃🤣 Miss being near the desert and gold since moving back to NH from AZ. Sometimes I wish I had stayed!
  9. Last night my sister Barbara lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was 74 years young and of the 4 siblings, me being the oldest, we all thought she would be the last to go because she always ate healthy and was very active hiking miles daily. May you Rest in Eternal Peace Barbara!
  10. GotAU ... Funny I was thinking that very same while reading this thread. Had the same experience and to a lessor degree on my 5000.
  11. ZERO! ... Since I moved to NH in July 22 I wanted to go back but life kept getting in the way. I am going to try to do it in this coming winter. Probably February.
  12. Good to see you here GhostMiner. Still miss your posts about the old camps but I did and do understand. Good luck this year in the mine.
  13. Happy Birthday ... a day late! Nice presents you got there! Betting there are still a few around! Go gett'm!
  14. So sad Doc. My sons are about his same age ... I can't imagine losing one of them. Prayers to you and your family. May he R.I.P.!
  15. Paid for the trip, the food/water/booze and gasoline ... even a little profit to bank! Well done!
