I have a battery charger that Safely recharges standard alkaline batteries. In fact i just finished charging some to check because yesterday i bought a multi meter to test my batteries with. And the ones that are still good batteries are chagring to 1.49-1.56 volts with a draw. Anyone know if the mono coil for a Sea Hunter II will also work on the Infinium LS? I e-mailed Kellyco and asked days ago but never heard back. Reason i asked is I have an Infinium and the 8" Sea Hunter mono coil  is $85 and the same coil for the Infinium is $110 and i am looking for an 8" mono for the Infinium. Unless maybe someone here has one for sale??

Thank you Steve for the info. I have both the 5" round DD and the 5"x10 DD coils for the Gold Bug. The Nokta comes with the stock 7"x11" open coil. So it sounds like i should just keep my GB?

Thinking i might trade my Fisher Gold Bug for a Nokta Fors Gold. It is the standard Gold Bug digital not the Pro. What do you all think, good idea or not. I have heard the Nokta is a bit better even than the Gold Bug but have no first hand experience with one. Anyone that has used both cares to respond i would appreciate your thoughts.  Thanks

So how does the SL compare, depth wise, to 2 other lower cost PI units, the Garrett Infinium and the Tesoro Sand Shark?

Anyone using the Infinium for nugget hunting finding many nuggets with the 10"x14" mono coil or mainly the 8" mono? How about the DD's? Do the smaller coils seem to perform better than the stock 10"x14" DD? And responses appreciated.  Thanks

My Only problem with the TDI SL is trying to find a used one for sale. Must mean that the people buying them are liking them because they don't seem to be re-selling them.

Those that have tried them, which do you find does the best job for nuggets on a Gold Bug Pro, the Fisher 5"x10" DD or the Nel 5.5"x9.5" DD, or some other? Thanks for any input.

Is there any usable difference with the Teknetics G2+ when used for nugget hunting?

Because those are the ones in my price range.

Take a nugget around  .3 gram in fairly mineralized soil. Which will locate it deeper a Whites TDI original, a Garrett Infinium, a Gold Bug Pro, or a Makro Gold Racer? And approx. how deep for each ?  Thanks

When nugget hunting with the Garrett Infinium, are the 8" and 10"x14" mono coils better for gold than the stock 10"x14" DD? Also, how much more depth will the 10"x14" mono get that the 8" mono?  Thanks for any info. I am completely new to PI machines.
