Success feels good doesn't it
Much more success to you in the future!!

I have always heard good things from people I meet about Gerry's sales and service. I have not personally had any dealings with Gerry.
I have been out in the field prospecting for over 10 years now.
So many people think a detector does not have a learning curve. It beeps when it's over metal, how much more to it could there be?...haha after 3 PI machines and running a few VLF's besides the one I own, I can tell you there is much to learn about running a detector, let alone looking for gold with one.
If you can attend a class or get out with a experienced nugget shooter, your going to be more successful!!

A very good enjoyable movie to watch, well executed!!

Hopefully a multi ouncer next!!

Good gold to you all!!

Way to keep the ear tuned , what a great looking nugget!!

Good on you and some great looking gold!!
A gold coin from Florida to top off the season would be awesome, best of luck with the pirate treasure hunting.

Oh ya, gets the heart pumping !!

How about a update on the GPZ to get a DD feature?
I am betting they could add a discriminator feature utilizing the DD coil set up.
With internal PC running things and firmware updates, its possible to control all the features very precisely through the program running things as long as the hardware is in place.

Not without weight issues and thats half the reason I swing the Deus is lite weight and discrimination.
But to gain depth and be at the top of the line for gold requires the GPZ 7000.
So if they can combine the 2 and still come out under 3lbs that would do it for my detecting.

Wow, you sure doing something right, great finds!! And many more to you.

Would love to test these coils out at some cleaned out spots where 14" and 19" Zed coils have cleaned up to the point of nothing left.
The ground is some what hot and the gold is holding at depth, makes me wonder if the new coils might help.

This year I picked up my 1st VLF an XP Deus. Absolutely love it, wireless, lite weight and sensitive to the yellow with its high frequency coils.
Started off with a GP3000 minelab and worked up to the 5000 over the years.
Minelab always did me good with the PI machines, so I up graded to a GPZ 7000.
No regrets here.

High caliber gold there Fred!!
Honestly the trash can be a let down but keep your spirits up and be curious as to what the ground holds.
Play it different ways so your mental game stays strong. Like dig a set number of targets from 1 area then move to another interesting spot(close by not a drive away)that feels good to you and do the same. Or half way through the trip quit digging loud big targets and focus on a few difficult signals.
Patience and persistence pays!!!
Enjoy the time spent in the field detecting as it is most of the time vs time digging gold.

Great banger of a nugget, very inspiring piece of gold!!
Looks like he was really working for it in the thick of the sticks.
-
Nice desert gold, and 10 pieces too, way to go!!
-
Score!!
Great nugget, so close to the one ounce mark. Perfect pendant nugget!!

Snake chaps always make me feel more comfortable, better safe than sorry.
Never been struck but had a close call or two, at least our poisonous snakes can rattle, vs a nasty brown or mamba..lol

Good looking rough gold!!
If you have a big pc of quartz to remove you may want to physically remove some. Some people use a big torch and a bucket of cold water to remove material, shock it off. Danger either way so be very careful.
Best of luck getting more gold and cleaning up what you have.

Your going to want to find a nugget finder little sadie coil, even more sensitive than the stock coils.
Way to make it work , congrats on the nice gold!!

Good going for you and the monster, looks like rich ground your on!!
Many more to you.

I celebrate by cleaning my detector, removing coil cover and other protective covers and wiping it all down. Followed by the same treatment to the user..lol
