Just air tested them so far. Plan to get out tomorrow and do some hunting with them. Will let you know how they sound.

Just got the Soundpeats Q12's in the mail yesterday. Tested them for about an hour and they sounded great with the 800.

I found 2 war nickels a foot apart from each other. 1943 rang up 13-14. 1945 rang up a steady 16. Almost didn't dig the 1945 because I had dug about 15 pull tabs before I found the nickels.

Can you confirm that the BT symbol with the "+" symbol appears on the Equinox control display when you use these headphones? That confirms that they are indeed APTX LL and not just APTX or APTX HD. Thanks. Would eventually like to compile a consolidated list of wireless APTX LL supporting earbuds because the posted earbud specs at web retailers usually do not provide enough detail or are ambiguous to the type of APTX codec that is supported.
No + symbol with the blackweb neck phones. Just regular aptx.

What about the pinpointer. Does anyone have a problem with the pinpointer not working right? I mean I Know how to pinpoint. I turn 90 degrees and go over the item. I believe it's something to do with my machine... Because sometimes it will say it's under the coil. 11" and it's not. It's way off... Like I'm getting kinda frustrated I even bought a EQX 600 and that's sad because i see other people who have problems and some who dont
I struggled with this at first. The Nox is a VERY sensitive machine. If there is any other piece of metal any where close to the target, you can easily pinpoint a small piece of iron or nail and miss the target. Every detector is different and takes time to learn.

I bought these cheap Blackweb earbuds at Walmart for hands free stuff around the house. They work surprisingly well with 12 hours battery time. Remembered they were APTX and hooked them up to the Nox and they work/sound great. Really didn't notice any lag in sound. Probably use them this summer.

I've only ever seen them in 180 & 200 grain loads. I've seen 9MM (.354) in 126 grain. You might have something different.

I recently tried Field 1 in a nail bed. It defaults to 2 tones (low for iron and high for non ferrous), and the recovery is at 6. It is similar to the "pitch" program for the Deus. You could even turn the recovery speed up to 7 depending on the nail density. It did alert me to several non ferrous targets that I couldn't pick out in 5/50 tones.

This made me laugh. Went through the same detector break up myself.

67GTA, I’m a Linux man and can confirm I use virtual box to apply the updates to my nox 800, wife’s 600 and friends 800, so it does work.
i guess if you are having issues with virtual box and applying updates message me what the exact issues are and I will try and help m8
Something hit me when I read your post. I just did a fresh install of Manjaro KDE to test it out for a while. I still hadn't set everything up yet. I was having trouble getting my printer to show up in Windows 10 in VB and realized I hadn't added myself to the vboxusers group. I'm guessing you are 100% correct and it will work now if I try it again.

I've tried through Virtualbox with Linux host/Windows guest and wine emulation with no luck. Haven't used Windows in 15 years, but had to install it again on a separate hard drive just to do the Nox update.

Was able to hunt for couple of hours this afternoon and they worked fine for me with 800. They sound just as good as the original wireless headphones.
