Thanks!  It was a difficult climb,  had their been a better path it would have been about 10 mins from Rail line to the hut..  there is an old railway line here from 1908-1956 that used to have some stops along it for miners and forestry people back in these old times.

Sorry forgot to mention we found tons of old glass bottles,  cans,  bullets and more!  Pretty cool stuff... can't wait to go back with an expert!

Mining cabins, camps, and associated ghost towns can be extremely trying due to all the iron trash.  I once found a can (possibly coffee can) with a patent date from the late 1870's, so keep an eye open for embossed/stamped lettering, etc.

Yes, found over 50 cans.  Most so rusted I couldn't ID Them, its so wet here in BC that iron doesn't last long even in the ground.

In our next video we at least found some Identifiable stuff. (PHOTO below)

We need to practice on a place with less trash so I can learn to ID a little better.

Another great day out... this time with my daughter...

Since we cannot get out into the field to prospect properly right now, figured we'd share with you a piece of equipment we use for testing in our garage and also in the field for hard to get to places. Its great for hiking in, testing several locations and then coming back with larger equipment!!
