  1. Thanks very much, very good tips. I appreciate it. I will continue to put the time in that's for sure! Very great advice and thanks my friend.
  2. Thanks for the info 🙂 I'll keep at it! I definitely cleaned the beach of trash today. Haha
  3. Thanks for the welcome 🙂 I am running the out of the box setup for the minelabs equinox 800. (Double D coil I think? If that is standard out of the box). I am running 3.08 I think program (if that is wrong, its the most updated software). I found 2 fishing sinkers today and it seems to pick them up strong (maybe the metal on top of the sinker?), does that mean I should up my FE setting? Or F2? I am just running the out of the box setup for the minelabs equinox 800. Just a question if you dont mind. Will I eventually be able to hear the difference between can tops (pull tabs), and something of value? Like gold? Or is the overlap so close that it is impossible to tell even with experience? I will keep reading and heading out :D

  6. Hi there, I am new to detecting on the beach. The sand is very fine I'm in the Florida panhandle. I get a lot of pull tabs and a bottle tops. I think that I'm getting used to the sound but I don't want to miss out on something good. Can you share any tips on dealing with this? I hear some people say to dig everything on the beach, is it true? Should I be doing something to avoid pull tabs? Thanks for your time.
