  1. So I had a good day detecting yesterday and on top of the gold I found I found this little square. Stared at it for a sec then thru it in my pouch to look at it later. Knowing it was not magnetic it kept bugging me. I got home and looked closely in the light noticed it was stamped with a lion and 2 circles. I scratched a little on the back and it started to look yellow. Any idea what it is? How to clean it? Any info would be appreciated.

  2. This setup works great and there's no headphone wires at all! Sound quality is good, head phones are light and comfy, i had to bend them to fit my small head, I usually got to find a happy medium with the volume on the headset and volume on the gold screamer.  Be sure if you get make sure it's the low latency headphones cause there is two different on the link I posted. The right wire took me awhile to find, before I had to two peace it and I don't like having to many connections. I also got a secondary transmitter so I can use regular headphones or just as a back up.

  3. So I finally got time to got out and really use my wireless system! I've got rid of the tdk the head phones were uncomfortable and sound quality just wasn't there for me. But I've had great luck with the aptx devices! I even picked up aptx wireless rechargable low latency head phones. I got to say I love it! Now I see minelab is coming out with the tek and I'm sure all others will follow. Lol. Should a waited but o well.

  4. Incredible find! Right in my home town to! I've probally detected right over it time and time again, I've been up and down this Creek many times. There's been many lumps found in this area. I've hunted hard and didn't do bad but eventually thru in the towel after punching to many very deep holes for trash! I've went straight off cliffs climbed down where I thought nobody's  ever been to find hand fulls of trash! Lol. I think seeing this nugget was just what I needed tho.

  5. I was looking into other Bluetooth options primarly headphones and spoke with Avantree pro company and both blue tooth, what ever is transmitting and receiving has to be both low latency. So make sure speaker is low enough. Also if you have two Avantree pro i think you can use one of docs external speakers with it. I will also be testing this once I get a new adapter.

  6. Xp deus shaft docs gold screamer and a few different wireless options! Finally got all the peices. Of course I got a bum connector peices for the aptx blue tooth so that will have to wait. I did test it but I had to keep my fingers on the connection while I used it. I must say sounded perfect, there was no lag as far as I could tell. Ready to stuff it in the pack and go find some gold!

  7. Well I've used it once before I got rid of my dd coil and it seemed great! Cords drive me crazy! I know docs said he improved or found a better charger. He said they were having alot of issues with the old ones. You can charge two batteries at once. Only thing I could say negative so far is it comes with a rubber band thingy to hold the battery in place, seems like it would only be needed if charging in the car on a bumpy road. When hooked to the amplifyer it stuffs into the side pouch nice and tight.

  8. Anybody try this is it new? Any info?

    From https://www.reedsprospecting.com.au/shop/detail/eq-spirit-li-ion-battery/ :

This battery is designed to function with all of the Minelab "gold" detectors. Voltage can be adjusted to suit each type of detector. It is possible to use the battery as standard, but it is recommended that you attach the battery to the detector and run it using the Wireless LINK. The headphone or speaker jack is inserted into the LINK and the detector is free of cables.

The LINK and the battery are re-charged separately. The sound quality of the battery is very high. The battery is re-charged with standard Minelab GPX chargers. If you need to buy the chargers when you buy a battery we are selling the chargers at $60.00 for both the 12V and 240V.

There are Noise Cancelling Headphones that work with this battery as well.

  9. Hmm I was thinking of going the airheadz route just because they have done all the testing already, and the headphones are supurb. But they use low lag blue tooth also. The avantree Saturn's and some good head phones would be about half price, maybe cheaper, and should do the same thing. Airheadz set up would cost me about $400. !?!?!!?? I'm gonna think on it. I got a couple other things I need to get first anyway. Any other info is much appreciated. Thank you
