I feel like an idiot...! But a happy one... Young man at Bass Pro Shop opened the box and immediately removed the film over the screen and gone are the bubbles..!! I owe MineLab an apology..!

"...These screens don't still have the clear protection still on the control box do they and need peeling off, as that is what i have found over the years.... they give the same appearance as air bubbles under the screen....." I will return it today and get someone in the store to attempt to see if it will peel off. Hope it is that simple... THANKS. .

I bought new X-Terra Pro today at Bass Pro Shop in Katy Texas, and it has same problem....! Very disappointing. Plan on returning it tomorrow... not good to hear that I may encounter the same issue with replacement, if they have one available....
