I have a Tarsacci and a buddy is coming down this week so we can do some testing and comparing with his xcal and sea hunter along with my Equinox.

I gave Tony what he needed ... pin out ect early on and ive got couple pairs of his phones. Traded a pair to Cliff even. Just dang good phones.
Settings we all use obviously with a little adjustment for the day maybe is...... AM, sensitivity 9, threshold 0, BKS OFF, St 30-33 track OFF, vol 15, GB 560 disc -30 and 9Khz... sometimes 6.5 hunting together in the water. 12khz in the wet sand 27 St.... 18 or 12 in the dry sand. We reverse disc if we want to hear the targets rather than just dig um all. That intels pushing the MODE button.... and a couple of times to get back to AM. Jumpy screen but over a target just wiggle it a bit. Its picky about where you get the best read.... normally back a bit from the tip. on the wet sand you will get used to tiny pieces of iron like kind of like the Sov does or a machine that picks up hot rocks. Thats why we went to the -30 .... if you notch say +28 you still get more positve responses. Its a fun learning experience.....
Thank you! That gets me going . I have some new grey ghost waterproof amphibian 2 headphones with the equinox plug , I may change the plug to the tarsacci and see how they do. If it's doesn't pan out I will order tony's

Dewcon4414 what are some decent settings since we are both gulf coast beaches. I can figure it out pretty quick I believe but having a nice base point to start with is helpful. Thanks

Do they make waterproof headphones that already has the plug for the tarsacci? I looked on amazon for the M8 but so far only seeing the straight non waterproof adapter.

Yeah the water is chilly here along Alabama coast. But I can still wade without it being too bad. My granddaughter still wants to swim in it. Crazy lol. I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on my Tarsacci coming Monday. I know I will want the 12" coil for the extra depth in the water. My buddy has the xcaliber and Garrett sea hunter 2 and an equinox 800 so we were hoping to have some fun comparing them because he is also very interesting in the Tarsacci. Merry Christmas everyone

Thank you .. my ATMax is set to 43" with one hole left. So it should be fine... The AT series and the Xterra series are the two I don't need tall man rods for..

Does anyone know the measurement from back of grip to coil bolt at longest extension? For us tall guys that hate buying tall man rods for everything for that extra 2".
MDT Double O Ring Battery Door?

The tarsacci seems to be built like a tank. Light weight and easy to swing buy solid. I don't see any concerns as the way it's built now. My machine has no speaker and the battery cap has plenty of threads with almost no way of stripping them with 2 O-rings . Plus they said if anyone leaves battery cap loose and salt water gets inside, just rinse out with fresh water and some alcohol and let dry.
