  1. I just got off a 24 minute phone conversation with Cabela's. They say that detectors should be shipped  based on when orders were received. They could not explain why I am still waiting for mine when my order was placed on the 20th at 5:20 AM which was before other orders that have already shipped and were received by some lucky folks. They say they should be shipping more tomorrow and maybe I will be on that list.

  2. Obviously when you ordered it that day doesn't matter. Oh well enjoy it to the people that got it!

     I had an alert set up so I knew when the page had changed. I figured since I ordered at 5:20 a.m. eastern standard time I would be golden. That did not prove true since I got the back ordered emails this afternoon.

  3. Well that's that. Here's the latest email from Cabela's. I guess if you ordered after 5:20 a.m. EST on February 20th and are getting yours count yourself lucky!

    Thank you for your order for Equinox Metal Detector.  The vendor has advised us that the item is currently out of stock and has been backordered.  They are expecting to ship approximately 3/30.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused & thank you for your patience.

    Also I think too many people contacted Cabelas about this.... and I guess they fix this problem by sending that email to you. If you're anxious to see when they're shipping keep checking their website (track your order) like I said I knew about mine at least 8 hours before they sent me the email...

    Ha! I probably almost brought their website down checking it so often. It's strange it would go from the status of shipped to not shipped. That coupled with no tracking number has me concerned. All I can do is wait.

  5. Ugh, I ordered at 5:20 AM on 2/20. It had changed to shipped but I never received a tracking number. Then this morning at 3:48 A.M. I get an email from Cabela's titled that there has been an order update. However, the order now says it has not shipped and they took away the 4 to 7 Day delivery window mention.

    I also called them yesterday evening and the woman told me they did not have any tracking information they could give me. She did say that I could expect it by the end of the month. She was basing that on the 4 to 7 day delivery window that was shown and that they had sent the order to Minelab on the 21st.
